Updatey!

So, I understand the posts have been a little limited lately, but I have recently been editing the blog and the posts to make them look a little more professional. Also, I've been editing the music video "Fire Bomb". It's close to finishing now. I can almost smell it O.o. So, here are the posts that are soon to be up on the blog:

1. Post for the video!

2. Music video evaluation

3. Digipack evaluation

4. Video Bloopers, Gaffes and Mistakes.

Other posts will probably follow, but I better finish these off first...

Lip Synching Exercise 1 and 2 (Research and Planning)

I decided to practice lip-synching as this will be essential to my videos' continuity. I also wanted to show my method for lip-synching. My method for practicing effective lip-synching, I literally sing. So, I hope your ears can cope for four minutes, because this is my practice.

This is the second practice with Paige Wellstead:

I also wanted to include a video on the importance of Lip-Synching itself. Here's the link

Single Front Covers (Research and Planning)

When analysing work from pop and rock artists, I noticed that some artists have released single editions of the most famous songs on their respective albums. Here is an example from the pop genre, with "We Are Young" from "Fun." from the album.

Here is another example from "Sleeping With Sirens" with the single "Do It Now Remember It Later", from the album "Let's Cheer To This".

I decided to make a single CD Cover in these styles. I understood, however, that I need to keep the same stylistic features of my album cover. This is my completed version of my single. I tried to replicate the single style of Fire Bomb, using motifs from the fire bomb music video. It also links in with the album "Spent Inspirations" as the letter motif is also featured within the digipack.

Music Video Reconstruction (Research and Planning)

In my initial planning stage, I partially reconstructed two music videos. However, I ran into problems when my music files ended up corrupting and I realised I could not add music to my video. So, I ended up discarding the footage. However, I recently found it and I thought that I would add it to the blog anyway. I apologise in advance for the lack of sound. Here is my reconstruction video:

Completed Digipack!

My Digipack is done! Yay! Here is my completed pack.

I thought it would be beneficial to my research to interview so impartial parties on my digipack itself, I wanted to see what they thought on my digipack in it's final stage. Here are my findings:

Posters! (Research and Planning)

These are the posters that will appear before the release date of my album. This poster is the main poster (therefore, the one I want marked).

This is the poster I wish to be marked on

These are the additional posters that will appear before the album release, and after the album release.

Before Album Release

I thought it would be beneficial to include the template designs for my posters (a.k.a the initial plan design for my posters). Here they are:
