What's going on?

Hey. I just wanted to apologise for my lack of postingness - this was due to very serious illness which involved me being bedbound for a few days. I have decided that I will film my shots in the college on tuesday ( 09/10/2012 ) and wednesday ( 10/10/2012 ). For further details see my film schedule. I will film the other locations and shots in my home, in the village of Long Clawson and in my other miscellanous shots on the Wednesday, ( 10/10/2012 ) Thursday, ( 11/10/2012 ) and Friday ( 12/10/2012 ). I will update soon to show you my raw footage. I have also started on my digi-pack. Don't worry, multi-tasking is second nature to me, I have a 12 year old sister.

Music video analysis. (Research and Planning)

I am analysing the song "The Ghost Of You" by My Chemical Romance. It is the rock side to the Pop-Rock genre.

Here is my analysis

By the way, I thought I would add in a little presentation (just in case one wasn't enough) about analysing music videos themselves. I thought it would be helpful in explaining how I studied the videos.

Here is my presentation:

Mood-boards. (Research and Planning)

Here are the mood-boards regarding the genres covered in my song choice (Fire Bomb-Rihanna). It includes typical conventions of the genres and also artists/bands that are very popular within that genre. Here are my mood-boards:

Pop

Rock

I also thought it would also be beneficial to include a moodboard on the genre of Pop-Punk, as some critics have classed Rihanna's album "Rated R" as a pop-punk album. Here is my storyboard on Pop-Punk music:

Confirmation email 2-proof of rights. (Research and Planning)

I just realised that like an idiot I haven't posted the second proof of rights email on the blog. Sorry! I emailed the record company Def Jam Recordings as they were signed with Rihanna at the time, and they also produced the album "Rated R" - where Fire Bomb was originally stored. Here is the email itself, and because of confidentiality, I have blocked out relevant information regarding the companies' private email:
