Post of Bringing-Up-To-Dateness

So, here's what's happened so far. I've finished those presentations and I'm editing the blog. I want the blog to look better. Currently, I'm on schedule. For more information, please see my filming schedule. I know it may seem a bit tedious right now, but if you hold on for a bit longer, all the things will be on the blog, and excitement will soon follow!

 

What's Happening?

Just to let you know that I have started planning the video itself. I have the plot finalised-not to the point of a finished storyboard. This means that soon, I will be filming the raw footage for the video. Looking forward to filming though, and I will update you as soon as I can.

Hey guys! Just posting in. I am currently the best multi-tasker on earth! Right now, I am finalising 4 prezi presentations for my research and planning (my Rihanna presentation, my presentation on rock genres, my presentation on pop genres and my presentation on "DefJam Records") and I am also uploading my location shots. I understand that I haven't posted in a while, but my laptop is the spawn of satan and keeps deleting my work. The Origins Of Pop Music and The Origins Of Rock Music. (Research and Planning)

Hullo! Considering that I have researched the genre of rock music and pop music, I thought it would be beneficial to my research and planning to dedicate a post for it. I wanted to discuss how these genres, or perhaps the development of these genres, affect the outcome of Pop and Rock music today. The Wonderful life of Rihanna -_-. (Research and Planning)

Ahh, Rihanna. A woman of free spirit. A woman who's music is completely relevant and moving, and cleanses the soul...if you haven't guess I am being sarcastic. The only reason I am doing a song by this artist is because the song "Fire Bomb" is relevant to the idea that i wanted to incorporate into my video. It works really well, and you can feel the emotions I want my target audience to feel. But, I am not a fan of her other songs. I am not interested in umbrella's enough to listen to a song dedicated to their use, I do not take enjoyment in hearing about "Rude Boys'" and how they "get it up" (shudders violently). But, since I am covering this artists' music, I think it only polite that I inform you of her work, her life etc. I'll also talk about Def Jam Recordings, who she recorded her album "Rated R" with.
Prepare yourself to hear all about the woman who brought the likes of "Russian Roulette", "We Found Love" and of course "Love The Way You Lie (parts 1 and 2, because 1 just wasn't enough)". Here you go, hope you don't implode with excitement :/
